Poster "Exploring the future of lowland peat"

An interactive two day workshop for those with an interest in the future of lowland agricultural peat, hosted by Fenland SOIL and the Centre for Landscape Regeneration, University of Cambridge.

We will explore the current thinking, knowledge gaps, policy changes and future requirements.  It will be interactive and encourage collaborations and discussions.

We will discuss the challenges set out by the Lowland Peat Taskforce Report and recent policy changes with an ambition to develop a community response. 

Participants from academia, industry, farmers, growers, policy makers, NGOs, and local communities are all encouraged to attend.

The venue is a 10 min walk from Ely train station, which can be reached by a 15 min train from Cambridge.
