Exploring the World Beneath Our Feet
"When you go outside and think there’s nothing, then you look closely and it’s full of beauty."

A Creative Exploration of the Fens
The World Beneath Our Feet was a pop-up exhibition and interactive presentation that showcased the results of a collaboration between the Centre for Landscape Regeneration (CLR) and Cambridge Curiosity & Imagination. Working with schoolchildren from Weatheralls and The Shade, the project brought together archaeologists, mycelium (fungi) researchers, and artists to explore the Fens in new and imaginative ways.
Through creative work developed from these conversations, the exhibition offered insights into the hidden beauty beneath the landscape, inspiring new perspectives on the natural world.
