Join us for a fun, drop-in family day celebrating the stories, wildlife and heritage of the Fenlands. Hosted by the Centre for Landscape Regeneration in collaboration with Cambridge Libraries and the University of Cambridge Museum of Zoology, this event brings together researchers, artists, archaeologists and community groups for an afternoon of hands-on discovery.
Take part in a range of free activities throughout the day, including:
- Crafts
- Badge making
- Fenland archeology
- Mini-beast hunts
- Come and meet researchers, scientists and archaeologists and learn more about their work in the Fens.
- We’d also love to hear from you—share your favourite Fenland folktales, memories and traditions.
Discover new insights into this unique and ever-changing landscape, from its wildlife to its deep cultural history.
All activities are free, and all ages are welcome. No booking is required—just drop-in at any time during the event.
